Abstract: Kebijakan tentang sertifikasi guru sangat erat kaitannya dengan upaya peningkatan kinerja uru. Adanya peningkatan kinerja guru ini dengan sendirinya diharapkan dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikna. Pelaksanaan dan penerapan program sertifikasi sebalikna secara traansparan dan akuntabel snagat penting karena hal ini sebagai pondasi dasra sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru. Jika peningkatan mutu kualitas manajemen sumber daya manusia melalui fungsinya pemberian sertifikasi terhadap guru dan akan mendorong dan merespon pikiran guru itu sendiri maka dengan sendirinya akan kinerja guru. The policy on teacher certification is closely related to efforts to improve teacher performance. This increase in teacher performance is by itself expected to improve the quality of education. The implementation and implementation of the certification program, on the other hand, in a transparent and accountable manner is very important because this is the basic foundation of schools to improve teacher performance. If improving the quality of human resource management through its function of providing certification for teachers and will encourage and respond to the teacher's own thoughts, it will automatically improve teacher performance.
