Abstract

Tourism has an opportunity that can enable, so it is also necessary conducive climate in order to ensure the ongoing activities, and increase opportunities. Comparison In Various Stays Of Various Sites (foreign exchange, taxes), Inter-state cooperation (international friendship), and other (Emerging) facets for foreign tourists). The purpose of this research is to know the role of Tourism and Culture Department in West Nias Regency. This research is included in this type of qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are Field Research, Research Research and Library Research. The results of research on the Role of the Department of Tourism and Culture in the Management of Beach Tourism in Sirombu District West Nias Regency as facilitators are used with other roles as motivators and dynamicators. The role of facilitator in the form of visualization of the infrastructure of the objects that mostly still be borne by the Department, the facility of distribution of stimulant fund aid for the people who want to develop a tourist object, the promotion of tourism object, and the facilities that give to the parties like investors and tourist entrepreneurs to develop the tourism business in West Nias Regency.
