dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa perbedaan mekanisme pertahanan diri ditinjau dari sekolah umum, pondok pesantren, dan panti asuhan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi di Yayasan Perguruan Asuhan Jaya yang berjumlah 28 orang, santri di Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Kutsar Al-Akbar yang berjumlah 29 orang, dan remaja di panti asuhan Yayasan Penyantunan Aceh Sepakat Darul Aitam yang berjumlah 25 orang. Penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis dekriptif manual untuk mengetahui persentase remaja dalam melakukan mekanisme pertahanan diri. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui bahwa mekanisme pertahanan diri yang paling banyak digunakan adalah sublimasi, represi, dan reaksi formasi. Di sekolah umum sublimasi digunakan sebanyak 40,48%, represi sebanyak 18,33%, dan reaksi formasi sebanyak 12,86%. Di pondok pesantren sublimasi digunakan sebanyak 34,71%, represi sebanyak 23,22%, dan reaksi formasi sebanyak 20,23%. Di panti asuhan sublimasi digunakan sebanyak 33,33%, represi sebanyak 24%, dan reaksi formasi sebanyak 19,47%. Mekanisme pertahanan diri yang paling sedikit digunakan adalah regresi yaitu hanya sekitar 3%. Hasil ini secara umum membuktikan bahwa mekanisme pertahanan diri di sekolah umum, pondok pesantren, dan panti asuhan paling dominan menggunakan sublimasi, represi, dan reaksi formasi meskipun dengan jumlah persentase yang berbeda-beda.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze differences in defense mechanisms in terms of public schools, Islamic boarding schools, and orphanages. Subjects of this study were 28 students at Yayasan Perguruan Asuhan Jaya, 29 Santri at Islamic Boarding School Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar, and 25 teenagers at the orphanage of Yayasan Penyantunan Aceh Sepakat Darul Aitam. The study used manual descriptive analysis techniques to determine the percentage of adolescents in carrying out defense mechanisms. Based on data analysis, it is known that the most widely used defense mechanisms are sublimation, repression, and reaction formation. Sublimation in public school was used as much as 40.48%, repression was 18.33%, and reaction formation was 12.86%. In Islamic Boarding Schools, sublimation was used as much as 34.71%, repression was 23.22%, and reaction formation was 20.23%. At the orphanage, sublimation was used as much as 33.33%, repression was 24%, and reaction formation was 19.47%. The least defense mechanism used is regression that is only 3%. The results of this study generally prove that the defense mechanism in public schools, Islamic boarding schools and orphanages is the most dominant using sublimation, repression, and reaction formation although the percentage amounts are different.en_US
