Abstract: This study uses a quantitative method, which aims to determine the relationship between the physical work environment and job satisfaction of employees of PT. Suryamas Lestariprima. With the hypothesis there is a relationship between the physical work environment and job satisfaction on employees that the better the physical work environment the higher the job satisfaction of employees and vice versa. The subject of this study amounted to 55 people with the sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The validity test of all 48 items of a valid physical work environment has a score of Corrected Item-Total Correlation ≥ 0.3; with a moving score of rtt = 0.309 to rbt = 0.614 with a Cronbach Alpha 0.812 reliability (reliability) score, which means that the scale of physical work environment is classified as reliable. Validity test of all 40 valid job satisfaction items has a score of Corrected Item-Total Correlation (rxy different power index) 30.3 ; with a moving score of rtt = 0.301 to rbt = 0.648 with a Cronbach Alpha reliability score (reliability) of 0.854, which means the scale of job satisfaction is classified as reliable. Based on the results of product moment correlation analysts between the physical work environment and job satisfaction, rxy was obtained at rxy = 0.885 with a significance of p = 0.000 < 0.050. The contribution of the effectiveness of variable X to variable Y is 78.4%, meaning that the physical work environment influences the job satisfaction of PT. Suryamas Lestariprima employees.
Description: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan kerja fisik dengan kepuasan kerja karyawan PT. Suryamas Lestariprima. Dengan hipotesis ada hubungan antara lingkungan kerja fisik dengan kepuasan kerja pada karyawan bahwa semakin baik lingkungan kerja fisik semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja karyawan dan sebaliknya. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 55 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Uji validitas seluruh 48 aitem lingkungan kerja fisik yang valid memiliki skor Corrected Item-Total Correlation (indeks daya beda rxy) ≥ 0,3; dengan skor bergerak dari rbt = 0.309 sampai rbt = 0.614 dengan skor reliabilitas (keandalan) Cronbach Alpha 0.812, yang berarti skala lingkungan kerja fisik tergolong reliabel. Uji validitas seluruh 40 aitem kepuasan kerja yang valid memiliki skor Corrected Item-Total Correlation (indeks daya beda rxy) ≥ 0,3; dengan skor bergerak dari rbt = 0.301 sampai rbt = 0.648 dengan skor reliabilitas (keandalan) Cronbach Alpha 0,854, yang berarti skala kepuasan kerja tergolong reliabel. Berdasarkan hasil analis korelasi product moment antara lingkungan kerja fisik dengan kepuasan kerja, diperoleh rxy sebesar rxy = 0.885 dengan signifikansi p = 0.000 < 0.050. Sumbangan efektifitas variabel X terhadap variabel Y sebesar 78.4% artinya lingkungan kerja fisik mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja karyawan PT. Suryamas Lestariprima.
