Hubungan Kecenderungan Kepribadian Sanguinis dengan Penyesuaian Diri pada Lansia

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test empirically whether there is a positive relationship between sanguinis personality traits with adaptation to the elderly. The subject of this study amounted to 60 with an age range of 60-65 years in East Korem Binjai Dormitory. The data collection tool in this research is using Likert scale. By using Purposive Sampling technique that is subject taking technique by first determining the characteristic or sample characteristic which become the subject of research. Data analysis was done by Product Moment correlation technique with SPSS statistical program version 21.0 for windows. The results of data analysis showed the correlation between the variables of sanguinis personality traits with self-adjustment in the elderly by 0.349 with p of 0.006. This suggests that there is a significant positive correlation between the relationship of sanguinis personality trends with adaptation to the elderly.
