Pengaruh Karakteristik Individu dan Karakteristik Pekerjaan Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the influence of individual characteristics and job characteristics on employee performance at the Deli Serdang Regency DPRD Secretariat. The research method used is associative research, where the variable is measured by a Likert scale. The method of data collection is done by questions (questionnaire) and study documentation. The population in this study were all employees of the Deli Serdang Regency DPRD Secretariat, which numbered 80 people. Sampling using simple random sampling, and the method used for sample calculation with Slovin formula. In this study the population is relatively small, which is as many as 80 people. Data processing using PLS Smart 3 device with analysis of structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed that: (1) partially Individual Characteristics variables affect the performance of employees at the Deli Serdang Regency DPRD Secretariat of 0,413. (2) partially Job Characteristics variables affect the performance of employees at the Deli Serdang Regency DPRD Secretariat of 0,308.
