dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan lingkungan kerja dengan burnout syndrome pada perawat RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Kota Medan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat di ruang rawat inap RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Kota medan yang berjumlah 515 perawat. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua skala, yaitu skala lingkungan kerja dan skala burnout syndrome. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi (rxy) sebesar -0.349 dengan P = 0,000 < 0,005, artinya terdapat hubungan negatif dan signifikan antara lingkungan kerja dengan burnout syndrome pada perawat ruang rawat inap, yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin rendah lingkungan kerja maka burnout syndrome akan semakin tinggi. Sebaliknya semakin tinggi lingkungan kerja perawat maka burnout syndrome semakin rendah. Lingkungan kerja pada perawat dalam penelitian ini tergolong rendah karena (mean empirik = 78,14.< mean hipotetik = 90 dimana selisihnya tidak melebihi bilangan SD = 9,465). Dan burnout syndrome tergolong tinggi, karena (mean empirik= 73,14.> mean hipotetik = 60 dimana selisihnya melebihi bilangan SD = 6,946). Adapun koefisien determinasi dari korelasi tersebut sebesar r2 = 0,162 artinya lingkungan kerja memberikan sumbangan efektif terhadap burnout syndrome sebesar 16,2%. Hasil penelitian ini sesuai hipotesis dengan hasil penelitian di lapangan.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to look at the relationship of the work environment with burnout syndrome in nurses Dr. Pirngadi Medan. The subjects in this study were nurses in the inpatient room of Dr. Pirngadi Kota Medan, totaling 515 nurses. The sampling technique uses random sampling. Data retrieval is done using two scales, namely the scale of the work environment and the scale of burnout syndrome. Data analysis used a correlation technique (rxy) of -0,349 with P = 0,000 <0,005, meaning that there was a negative and significant relationship between the work environment and burnout syndrome in inpatient nurses, which showed that the lower the work environment the burnout syndrome would be higher. Conversely, the higher the nurse's work environment, the lower the burnout syndrome. The work environment for nurses in this study is classified as low because (empirical mean = 78.14. <Hypothetical mean = 90 where the difference does not exceed SD = 9,465). And burnout syndrome is high, because (empirical mean = 73.14.> Hypothetical mean = 60 where the difference exceeds SD = 6.946). The coefficient of determination of the correlation is r2 = 0.162, which means that the work environment contributes effectively to burnout syndrome by 16.2%. The results of this study are in accordance with the hypothesis with the results of research in the field.en_US
