dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteritik bakteri endofit pada akar bawang dayak (Eleutherine palimifolia L.) secara visual dan mikroskopis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan yaitu preparasi sampel dan media, isolasi dan karakterisasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif, yaitu dengan memberikan penjelasan atau penggambaran dari jenisjenis bakteri endofit yang terdapat pada akar bawang dayak (Eleutherine palimifolia L.). Sebanyak 3 isolat bakteri endofit diperoleh dari akar tanaman bawang dayak yaitu AB1, AB2, dan AB3. Hasil pewarnaan menunjukkan AB1 dan AB2 berbentuk basil dan gram positif sedangkan AB3 berbentuk bulat gram negatif. Variasi sifat biokimiawi diperlihatkan oleh AB1, AB2 dan AB3. Berdasarkan karakteristik morfologi dan biokimia isolat bakteri endofit tersebut diduga berasal dari Bacillus dan Nitrosococcus.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research to determine the characteristics of endophytics bacteri in Eleutherine palmifolia root visually and microscopically. This research was conducted in 3 steps, started from media preparation, isolation and characterization. The data obtained were then analysed descriptively, namely providing an explanation or description of the types of endophtyic bacteria found on the roots of Eleutherine palmifolia. As many as 3 bacteria isolates obtained from Eleutherine palmifolia root which named AB1, AB2 and AB3. The coloration results show AB1 and AB2 in the form of bacilli and gram positive while AB3 is in the form of gra negative round. Variations in biochemical properties are shown by AB1, AB2 and AB3. Based on the morphological and biochemical charasterictics of endophytics bacteria isolates are thought to originate from Bacillus and Nitrosococcus.en_US
