Abstract: The research on hydroponic curly mustard (Brassica juncea L.) with nutrients of AB Mix, Growmore, and Bayfolan was carried out in green house, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area, on Jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang Regency, from October to November 2018. This study aims to determine the response of growth and production of curly mustard plants in hydroponic systems with different nutritional sources. This study used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three levels: P1 = 1000 ppm AB mix nutrition, 1000 ppm P2 = Growmore fertilizer, and P3 = Bayfolan leaf fertilizer 1000 ppm. The parameters observed were: plant height, leaf number, leaf width, leaf color, gross weight, and net weight. The result showed that AB Mix, Growmore and Bayfolan nutrition significantly affected the parameters of observation of plant height, leaf number, leaf width, leaf color, and significantly affected the gross weight and net weight of plants. From the all treatments AB Mix Nutrition is the best treatment but Growmore gives a greener leaf color.
Description: Penelitian mengenai tanaman sawi keriting secara hidroponik dengan nutrisi AB Mix, Growmore, dan Bayfolan dilaksanakan di Rumah Kasa, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Medan Area, di jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, mulai bulan Oktober sampai November 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman Sawi Keriting (Brassica juncea L.) pada sistem hidroponik dengan sumber nutrisi yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial yang terdiri dari tiga taraf : P1 = Nutrisi AB mix 1000 ppm, P2 = Pupuk Growmore 1000 ppm, dan P3 = Pupuk Daun Bayfolan 1000 ppm. Parameter yang diamati adalah : tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, lebar daun, warna daun, bobot kotor, dan bobot bersih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian nutrisi AB Mix (P1), Growmore (P2) dan Bayfolan (P3) sangat berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter pengamatan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, lebar daun, warna daun dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot kotor dan bobot bersih tanaman. Nutrisi AB Mix merupakan perlakuan terbaik, namun Growmore memberikan warna daun yang lebih hijau.
