Title: Efektivitas Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair Daun Lamtoro dan Kompos Daun Kirinyuh Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea mays saccharata Sturt)

Abstract: This research was conducted at the Experimental Station of the Faculty of Agriculture No. Pool Road. 1 Medan Estate Percut Sei Tuan District, with a height of 12 meters above sea level (asl). This research was conducted in October 2018 until January 2019. This research was conducted using Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 treatment factors, namely: 1) The administration of lamtoro leaf liquid organic (POC) (L notation) consisting of 4 levels, namely: L0 = control (not using Lamtoro leaf POC); L1 = using POC leaves of lamtoro concentration of 25% (250 ml / l water); L2 = using POC leaves 50% (500 ml / l water) of lamtoro; L3 = using POC leaves of lamtoro with a concentration of 75% (750 ml / l water), and 2) Giving compost of leaves of kirinyuh (K notation) which consists of 4 levels, namely: K0 = control (not using compost of left leaves) K1 = using leaves of compost leaves with a dose of 10 tons / ha (2.2 kg / plot); K2 = using leaves of compost leaves with a dose of 20 tons / ha (4.3 kg / plot); K3 = using compost kirinyuh leaves with a dose of 30 tons / ha (6.5 kg / plot). Each treatment was repeated 2 times. The parameters observed in this study consisted of: plant height, number of leaves, leaf color, ear length, number of seeds in 1 row / ear, weight of production with klobot per sample, weight of production without klobot per sample, weight of production with klobot per plot and production weight without clobot per plot. The results obtained from this study were: 1) The administration of lamtoro leaf POC had no significant effect on plant height and leaf color, but significantly affected the cob length, number of seeds in 1 row / ear, weight of cob production with klobot per sample, weight of production COB without samples per sample, weight of production of cob with weight per plot and weight of production of cob without clobot per plot. In relation to production without klobot per plot, it was found that the administration of lamtoro leaf POC with a concentration of 500 ml / l water produced the highest production, which was equal to 3.29 kg / plot; 2) The application of kirinyuh leaf compost has no significant effect on the growth and production of sweet corn plants; and 3) The combination of the administration of POC leaves of lamtoro and compost of kirinyuh leaves had no significant effect on the growth and production of sweet corn plants.
Description: Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, dengan ketinggian 12 meter di atas permukaan laut (dpl). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2018 sampai Januari 2019. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan, yaitu : 1) Pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) daun lamtoro (notasi L) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yakni : L0 = kontrol (tidak menggunakan POC daun kamtoro); L1 = menggunakan POC daun lamtoro konsentrasi 25% (250 ml / l air); L2 = menggunakan POC daun lamtoro konsentrasi 50% (500 ml / l air); L3 = menggunakan POC daun lamtoro konsentrasi 75% (750 ml / l air), dan 2) Pemberian kompos daun kirinyuh (notasi K) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yakni : K0 = kontrol (tidak menggunakan kompos daun kirinyuh); K1 = menggunakan kompos daun kirinyuh dosis 10 ton/ha (2,2 kg/plot); K2 = menggunakan kompos daun kirinyuh dosis 20 ton/ha (4,3 kg/plot); K3 = menggunakan kompos daun kirinyuh dosis 30 ton/ha (6,5 kg/plot). Masingmasing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 kali. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari : tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, warna daun, panjang tongkol, jumlah biji dalam 1 baris/tongkol, berat produksi dengan klobot per sampel, berat produksi tanpa klobot per sampel, berat produksi dengan klobot per plot dan berat produksi tanpa klobot per plot. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah : 1) Pemberian POC daun lamtoro berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan warna daun, tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang tongkol, jumlah biji dalam 1 baris/tongkol, berat produksi tongkol dengan klobot per sampel, berat produksi tongkol tanpa klobot per sampel, berat produksi tongkol dengan klobot per plot dan berat produksi tongkol tanpa klobot per plot. Dalam kaitannya dengan produksi tanpa klobot per plot diperoleh bahwa pemberian POC daun lamtoro dengan konsentrasi 500 ml/l air menghasilkan produksi tertinggi, yakni sebesar 3,29 kg/plot; 2) Pemberian kompos daun kirinyuh berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung manis; dan 3) Kombinasi antara pemberian POC daun lamtoro dan kompos daun kirinyuh berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung manis.
