dc.descriptionPenelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area yang beralamat di Jalan PBSI No.1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan dengan ketinggian kurang lebih 22 m dpl, dengan topografi datar dan jenis tanah alluvial, sejak bulan Agustus sampai dengan November 2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial,dengan 2 faktor perlakuan, yaitu : 1) Faktor pemberian pupuk kandang sapi (notasi P), yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan, yakni :P0 = tanpa pupuk kandang sapi (kontrol); P1 = pupuk kandang sapi 10 ton/ha (1.400 g/ plot); P2 = pupuk kandang sapi 20 ton/ha (2.800 g/plot); P3 = pupuk kandang sapi 30 ton/ha (4.200 g/plot), dan 2) Faktor pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) limbah kulit kopi (notasi K), yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yakni :K0 = tanpa pemberian pupuk POC limbah kulit kopi; K1 = pemberian POC kulit kopi konsentrasi 20 % (200 ml/liter air); K2 = pemberian POC kulit kopi konsentrasi 40 % (400 ml/liter air); K3 = pemberian POC kulit kopi konsentrasi 60 % (600 ml/liter air), masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 kali. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, umur berbunga, panjang tongkol, produksi per sampel dan produksi per plot. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut :1) Pemberian pupuk kandang sapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, panjang tongkol per tanaman sampel, produksi tanaman per sampel dan produksi tanaman per plot, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah daun dan umur berbunga. Pemberian pupuk kandang sapi sebanyak 1,4 kg/plot merupakan perlakuan terbaik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung manis; 2) Pemberian pupuk organik cair limbah kulit kopi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, umur berbunga, panjang tongkol per tanaman sampel, produksi tanaman per sampel dan produksi tanaman per plot; dan 3) Kombinasi antara perlakuan pemberian pupuk kandang sapi dan pupuk organik cair limbah kulit kopi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, umur berbunga, panjang tongkol per tanaman sampel, produksi tanaman per sampel dan produksi tanaman per plot.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis research held in Medan facalty Agriculture Universitas Medan Area was located at PBSI No. 1 Medan Estate Percut Sei Tuan. sub distnct with attitude of approximately 22 m dpl. With flat topography and alluvial soil types. Since October until December 2018. Research method that used in this study for randouhized block design (RAK) with 2 treatmant factors, Namely : 1 ) factor of giving cow manure (notation P), which consist of 4 levels treatments, namely : P0 = without cow manure (control); P1 = cow manure 10 tons/ha (1400 g/plot ); P2 = cow manure 20 tons /ha (2800 g/plot); P3 = cow manure 30 tons/ha (4200 g/plot) and 2) factor of giving liquid organic fertilizer (POC) coffee skin waste (K notation). Which consist of 4 levels, such as : K0 = without giving manure POC of coffee leather waste ; K1 = giving POC of coffee leather with concentration 20 % (200 ml/liter of water) ; K2 = giving POC of coffee leather with concentration 40 % (400 ml/liter of water) K3 = giving POC of coffee leather with concentration 60 % (600 ml / liter of water) each treatment was repeated for two times. Parameter that observed in this study consist of plant height, amount of leaves. The age of flower , ear length of plant, production per sampel and production per plot here is the result that gotten from this research: 1 ) giving cow manure is very significant for length of plant, ear length of plant, crup production per plot. But there is no significant for amount of leaves and flower age .Giving 1,4 kg / plot cow manure is the best treatment to increase the growth and production of sweet corn plants. 2) the application of liquid organic of coffee leather couldn’t effect obviously for plant height, leaf number, flower age, ear length of plant, crop production per sample and crop production per plot, and 3) the combination of treatment between cow manure and liquid organic fertilizer of coffee leather, couldn’t get significant obviously with plant height, leaf number, flower age, ear length of plat per sample, and production of plant per sample and per plot.en_US
