Hubungan antara Keharmonisan Keluarga dengan Konsep Diri Remaja di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan

Abstract

This study specifically aims to find out and prove that there is a relationship between family harmony with the self-concept of adolescents in the MAS Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan. This type of research is quantitative. The study sample was 77 people, the sampling technique was the total sampling method. The scale used by researchers in this study is the Likert Scale, to reveal self-concept and family harmony. The analysis technique used is the Pearson product moment correlation, with normality test and linearity test. With a hypothetical average value of 72.5 and 62.5 while for the empirical average values are 89.81 and 82.99, with equally high information. The hypothesis is accepted because there is a significant positive relationship between family harmony and self-concept of adolescents with a rxy correlation coefficient = 0.757; p (0,000) <0.050. Family harmony affects adolescent self-concept by 57.4%.
