Implementasi Sistem dan Prosedur Pelayanan Administrasi Perceraian di Pengadilan Agama Medan Kelas I-A

Abstract

Divorce is the breakup of marital relations between husband and wife with a court decision and there is enough reason that between husband and wife will not be able to live in harmony again as husband and wife. The divorce process in Indonesia can only be carried out in the Religious Courts for Muslims and in the District Courts for non-Muslims. In this case, the researcher conducted a study in the Medan Religious Court as the location of the study with the focus of the research on divorce administration. As for the formulation of the problem is how the implementation and constraints of the system and procedures for the administration of divorce services in the Medan Religious Court Class I-A. The research method used is qualitative research methods and data collection techniques used namely observation, interviews and documentation and has three research informants namely key informants, main informants and additional informants. Based on the results of the study using the approach put forward by George C. Edwards III and by using service standards, it can be concluded that the implementation of the system and procedures for the administration of divorce services in the Medan I-A Class Religious Court is not optimal.
