Hubungan Antara Efikasi Diri dengan Kematangan Karir pada Siswa Kelas XI di SMK Farmasi YPFSU Medan

Abstract

This study aims to look at the relationship between self-efficacy and career maturity of class XI students at SMK Pharmacy YPFSU Medan. The subjects in this study were 92 students in class XI Pharmacy YPFSU Medan. The sampling technique uses total sampling technique. Measuring instruments used are self-efficacy scale and student career maturity scale. The method of data analysis using Product Moment correlation technique analytical results rxy = 0.857 with p = 0,000 <0.050 means that there is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and career maturity in class XI students of SMK Pharmacy YPFSU Medan which shows that the higher the student's self-efficacy the higher also the career maturity of students. Based on the research, it is known that students have high self-efficacy with an empirical average of 104.76> hypothetical mean = 80 with SD = 8.762. While career maturity is relatively high with an average empirical value = 94.98> hypothetical average = 7.25 with SD = 9.3359. The coefficient of determination of the correlation of r2 = 0.734 means that self-efficacy contributes effectively to the career maturity of class XI students by 73.4%. From the results of this study, the hypothesis proposed was accepted.
