dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengaruh dari limbah cair kelapa sawit terhadap pertumbuhan bibit durian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area, Jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan dengan ketinggian 12 m dpl, topografi datar dan jenis tanah alluvial, dimulai dari bulan Februari sampai dengan April 2018. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non Faktorial, dengan faktor perlakuan efektivitas limbah cair kelapa sawit (notasi L) yang terdiri dari 6 taraf perlakuan, yakni : L0 = air + pupuk standart; L1 = air + limbah cair kelapa sawit sebanyak 20 ml / polybag; L2 = air + limbah cair kelapa sawit sebanyak 30 ml / polybag; L3 = air + limbah cair kelapa sawit sebanyak 40 ml / polybag; L4 = air + limbah cair kelapa sawit sebanyak 50 ml / polybag; dan L5 = air + limbah cair kelapa sawit sebanyak 60 ml / polybag. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 4 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun dan luas daun. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair dari limbah cair kelapa sawit sebagai campuran media tanam sangat efektif untuk mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bibit durian, dan 2) Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair dari limbah cair kelapa sawit dengan konsentrasi 60 ml / polybag ternyata mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bibit durian.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to influence the palm oil liquid waste on the growth of durian seedlings. This research was conducted in the Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area, Jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan Sub district with a height of 12 m above sea level, flat topography and alluvial soil types, starting from February to April 2018. The design used in this study was a Non Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD), with the effectiveness factor treatment of palm oil waste (L notation) consisting of 6 levels of treatment, namely: L0 = water + standard fertilizer; L1 = water + palm oil liquid waste as much as 20 ml / polybag; L2 = water + palm oil liquid waste as much as 30 ml / polybag; L3 = water + palm oil liquid waste as much as 40 ml / polybag; L4 = water + palm oil liquid waste as much as 50 ml / polybag; and L5 = water + palm oil liquid waste as much as 60 ml / polybag. This study was conducted in 4 replications. The parameters observed in this study were plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves and leaf area. The results obtained from this study are: 1) Provision of Liquid Organic Fertilizer from palm oil liquid waste as a mixture of planting media is very effective to support the growth and development of durian seedlings, and 2) Provision of Liquid Organic Fertilizer from palm oil liquid waste with a concentration of 60 ml / polybag was able to increase the growth and development of durian seedlings.en_US
