Abstract: | This study aims to look at differences in work motivation between contract employees and permanent employees at JNE Express Across Nation Medan Branch. This research is a comparative quantitative study with the subject involving 40 contract employees and 40 permanent employees and the sampling is done by using the Perpostional Random Sampling technique. The data collection method used in this study is the Likert scale method. The scale method used is the Work Motivation scale. Data analysis method used in this study is KolmogorovSmirnov one sample, based on data analysis, it was found that the hypothesis proposed in this study was declared acceptable, namely there were differences in work motivation between contract employees and permanent employees at JNE Express Across Nation Medan branch. This is evidenced through the calculation of 1-way correlation analysis, with a value of F = 81.976 and a value of Sig = 0,000. This means that the p value <0.050, which means significant. And in general, work motivation is relatively high for contract employees with known from (hypothetical mean 75 <empirical mean 89.48), and work motivation is moderate for permanent employees with known from (hypothetical mean 75 <empirical mean 66.93). |
Description: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan motivasi kerja antara karyawan kontrak dengan karyawan tetap di JNE Express Across Nation Cabang Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif komparatif dengan subjek melibatkan 40 orang karyawan kontrak dan 40 orang karyawan tetap dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Perpostional Random Sampling.. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode skala Likert. Metode skala yang digunakan yaitu skala Motivasi Kerja. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one sample KolmogorovSmirnov, berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan diterima, yaitu ada perbedaan motivasi kerja antara karyawan kontrak dengan karyawan tetap di JNE Express Across Nation cabang Medan. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui perhitungan analisis korelasi 1 jalur, dengan nilai F = 81,976 dan nilai Sig = 0,000. Hal ini berarti nilai p<0,050 yang artinya signifikan. Serta secara umum, motivasi kerja tergolong tinggi terhadap karyawan kontrak dengan diketahui dari (mean hipotetik 75 < mean empirik 89,48), dan motivasi kerja tergolong sedang terhadap karyawan tetap dengan diketahui dari (mean hipotetik 75 < mean empirik 66,93). |
