Pengaruh Tingkat Pendidikan Terhadap Kinerja Kepala Desa di Kecamatan Pantai Labu

Abstract

This studyaims to see the effect of the level of education on the performance of village heads in Pantai Labu sub-district. The research method used in the study is a combination. Johnson and Cristense (2007) provide definition of mixed research methods as follows “ research methods as follows “research that combines quantitative and qualitative approaches” creswell (2009) states that, this method is often referred to as the multi method method ( the use of two methods) integrated (two methods emties into one) integrated ( integration of two methods) and combine (a combination of two methods). So in this study the author use s a sequential explanatory design combination method. In the quantitative method the independent variable in this study is the level of education , while the dependent variable is the performance of the village head. This research is survey were 19 respondents who worked as village heads determined by using sampling techniques for specific purposes ( purposive sampling). Analysis data used correlation techniques to determine the effect of the independent variables and partially dependent t tedt used. Independent variable with simultaneous dependence used test f. The results of this study indicate that with a significant level of P = 0.05 simultaneously and partially the level of education influences the performance of village heads in the district of pantai pumpu deli district, while in the qualitative method, the technique of collecting data used interview techniques which will then be carried out. Comparation between quantitative and qualitative data analysis, there are differences or even similarities.
