dc.descriptionPenelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self efficacy dengan kemandirian belajar pada kelas XI SMA di Yayasan Perguruan IRA Medan. Sejalan dengan landasan teori yang ada, diajukan hipotesis : ada hubungan positif antara self efficacy dengan kemandirian belajar pada siswa-siswi kelas XI. Dalam penelitian ini sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 62 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 jenis skala, yaitu :skala self efficacy dan skala kemandirian belajar yang diukur dengan menggunakan skala likert. Skala self efficacy yang terdiridari 32 aitem dan skala kemandirian belajar dengan 24 aitem. Dalam membuktikan hipotesis diatas, maka digunakan metode analisis data Product Moment. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil :(1). Terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikasi antara self efficacy dengan kemandirian belajar. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasirxy =0,526 ;p = 0,000 < 0,050. (2). Data ini menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy berkontribusi terhadap kemandirian belajar sebesar 27,7%. (3).Self efficacy siswa tergolong baik, sebab nilai rata-rata hipotetiknya 55 dan nilai rata-rata empiriknya 65,50. Sedangkan untuk kemandirian belajar, nilai rata-rata hipotetiknya 57,5 dan nilai rata-rata empirik 74,90 yang juga tergolong cenderung tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka hipotesis yang dinyatakan diterima.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study uses quantitative methods, which aim to determine the relationship of self efficacy with learning independence in the classroom XI SMA di Yayasan Perguruan Ira Medan. In line with existing theoretical foundations, a hypothesis is proposed: there is a positive relationship between self efficacy and learning independence in class students XI. In this study the sample used was 62 people. This study uses 2 types of scales, namely: self efficacy scale and learning independence scale which is measured using a Likert scale.The self efficacy scale consists of 32 items and the learning indepe ndence scale is 24 items. In proving the above hypothesis, the Product Moment data analysis method is used. Based on data analysis, the results are obtained:(1). There is a significant positive relationship between self efficacy and learning independence. This result is proven by the correlation coefficientrxy =0,526 ;p = 0,000 < 0,050.(2). This data shows that self efficacy contributes to learning independence by 27,7%.(3). Student's self-efficacy is quite good, because the hypothetical mean value is 55 and the empirical average value 65,50.while for learning independence, the average score is hypothetical57,5and empirical average values74,90which is also relatively high. Based on the results of this study, the stated hypothesis was accepted.en_US
