Evaluasi Peringkat Kampus Hijau pada Universitas Medan Area Berdasarkan UI Greenmetric World University Rangkings 2017

Abstract

The University of Indonesia made a green campus rankings program named UI GreenMetric World University Ranking which purposes to survey online on campuses all over the world to find out the sustainable programs and policies of the campuses, by meeting the participants' responsibility to keep attending the continues ranks in the future. The aim of the study is to evaluate the questionnaire data sent by the UMA campus to UI GreenMetric and to evaluate the green campus rank got. The study purposes to find out whether the questionnaire data sent corresponds to the real condition, also to find out the rank that should be got by the UMA campus. After conducting the research (field observation) to the UMA campus location, it was obtained the conclusions as follow: the questionnaire data sent to UI GreenMetric was not entirely corresponded to the real condition, the data were range on WS 1, WS 5, WR 2, TR 5, TR 8, and the motorbikes entered the campus area. Thus, the total value of observation of 3307.85 > 3294 was obtained from UI GreenMetric, so the UMA campus should be ranked 504 in 2017.
