dc.description | Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Universitas Medan Area Jl. PBSI Medan Estate Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang, dengan ketinggian tempat 12 m dpl, topografi datar dan jenis tanah alluvial. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan September sampai Januari 2019. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan, yaitu : 1) Pupuk kandang ayam (notasi P) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan, yakni : P0 = Tanpa perlakuan; P1 = Kompos 10 ton ha (1 kg/ plot); P2 = Kompos 15 ton ha (1,5 kg/ plot); P3 = Kompos 20 ton ha (2 kg/ plot), dan 2) Pupuk organik limbah cair kelapa sawit (notasi K) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan, yakni : K0 = Tanpa perlakuan; K1 = Limbah cair 10 ml/ L; K2 = Limbah cair 20 ml/ L; K3 = Limbah cair 30 ml/ L, masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 kali. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, berat kotor produksi per sampel, berat kotor produksi per plot, berat bersih produksi per sampel dan berat bersih produksi per plot. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, yaitu : 1) Pemberian kompos kotoran ayam berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, berat kotor produksi per sampel, berat kotor produksi per plot, berat bersih produksi per sampel dan berat bersih produksi per plot, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah daun. Pemberian kompos kotoran ayam sebanyak 1 kg/ m2 nyata dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman; 2) Pemberian limbah cair kelapa sawit berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung dan 3) Kombinasi antara faktor pemberian kompos kotoran ayam dan limbah cair kelapa sawit berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | This research was carried out on the experimental field of the University of Medan Area Jl. PBSI Medan Estate Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict Deli Serdang Regency, with altitude of 12 m above sea level, flat topography and alluvial soil type. This research was conducted from September to January 2019. This research was conducted using Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) method consisting of 2 treatment factors, namely: 1) Chicken manure (P notation) which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely: P0 = No treatment; P1 = Compost 10 tons ha (1 kg / plot); P2 = Compost 15 tons ha (1.5 kg / plot); P3 = Compost 20 tons ha (2 kg / plot), and 2) Organic fertilizer palm oil liquid waste (K notation) which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely: K0 = No treatment; K1 = Liquid waste 10 ml / L; K2 = Liquid waste 20 ml / L; K3 = Liquid waste 30 ml / L, each treatment was repeated 2 times. The parameters observed in this study consisted of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, production gross weight per sample, production gross weight per plot, net production weight per sample and net production weight per plot. The results obtained from this study, namely: 1) Provision of chicken manure compost has a significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, production gross weight per sample, production gross weight per plot, net production weight per sample and net production weight per plot, but influential not real to the number of leaves. Provision of 1 kg / m2 chicken compost can significantly increase plant growth and production; 2) The provision of palm oil liquid waste has no significant effect on the growth and production of maize plants and 3) The combination of factors of chicken manure compost and palm oil liquid waste has no significant effect on the growth and production of corn plants. | en_US |
