Abstract

The purpose of the authors to conduct research to determine the effect of work safety on employee work productivity, to determine the effect of work ethics on employee work productivity, to determine the effect of work safety and work ethics on employee work productivity at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan, with an associative research approach, which was conducted at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan with a total sample of 67 employees The results of this study were collected through questionnaires that were processed and analyzed using Multiple Regression. Then the data quality test used was to test the validity by using Corrected Item Total and reliability tests using Cronbach Alpha. To test the hypothesis in this study. The researcher uses the t test, and the F test and tests the determination. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant and positive influence on work safety on employee work productivity in the company PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. Due to the results of t count (5.615)> t table (1.99) with a significance value of 0.000, there is a significant and positive influence on work ethics on the work productivity of employees in the company PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan shown from the results of t count (2.919) > t table (1.99) with a significance value of 0.005, and simultaneously there is also an influence between work safety and work ethics on employee work productivity which can be seen from F count of 57.969 with probability sig 0,000 < a 0,05, with R Square equal to 0,644 or 64,4%.
