Abstract: This research was conducted in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area, located on Jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency, from December to May 2019. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the ability of fertilizers derived from Paitan and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in the growth and production of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L). This research used factorial randomized block design with the treatment of paitan fertilizer as follows: P0 = without treatment, P1 = 0.5 kg / plot (5 tons ha-1), P2 = 1 kg / plot (10 tons ha-1), P3 = 1.5 kg / plot (15 tons ha-1), P4 = 2 kg / plot (20 tons ha-1) and the treatment of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi as follows: M0: without treatment, M1: 10 g / plot, M2: 15 g / plot, M3: 20 g / plot. The parameters observed were: plant height, number of leaves, leaf width, sample weights per plot, total weights per plot, effectiveness of the treatment application of all parameters and observation of root colonization. The results obtained from this study are: 1) The administration of paitan fertilizer has no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves and leaf width. very significant effect on the total weight of the sample plantations and and on the total weight per plot have a significant effect; 2) The administration of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (FMA) has a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, total weight of plants per plot, and total weight of plants per sample; 3) The combination treatment of paitan fertilizer and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (FMA) had no significant effect on plant height, leaf width, weight per plot and weight per sample, whereas leaf count had a significant effect at 1 week age.
Description: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area yang berlokasi di jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, mulai bulan Desember hingga Mei 2019. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data tentang kemampuan pupuk yang berasal dari Paitan dan fungi mikoriza arbuskular dalam pertumbuhan dan produksi pakcoy (Brassica rapa L). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan perlakuan pupuk paitan sebagai berikut : P0 = tanpa perlakuan, P1 = 0.5 kg / plot (5 ton ha-1), P2 = 1 kg / plot (10 ton ha-1), P3 = 1.5 kg / plot(15 ton ha-1), P4 = 2 kg / plot (20 ton ha-1) dan perlakuan fungi mikoriza arbuskular sebagai berikut : M0 : tanpa perlakuan, M1 : 10 g/plot, M2 : 15 g/plot, M3 : 20 g/plot. Parameter yang diamati adalah : tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, lebar daun, bobot sampel per plot, bobot total per plot, efektivitas aplikasi perlakuan terhadap semua parameter dan pengamatan kolonisasi akar. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah : 1) Pemberian pupuk paitan berpengaruh tidak nyata pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan lebar daun. berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap berat total pertanaman sampel dan dan terhadap berat total per plot berpengaruh nyata; 2) Pemberian fungi mikoriza arbuskular (FMA) berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, berat total tanaman per plot, dan berat total tanaman per sampel; 3) Perlakuan kombinasi antara pupuk paitan dan fungi mikoriza arbuskular (FMA) berpengaruh tidak nyata pada tinggi tanaman, lebar daun, berat per plot dan berat per sampel, sedangkan pada jumlah daun berpengaruh nyata pada umur 1 minggu.
