dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah reward dan punishment berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan pada karyawan perum perumnas regional 1 Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah assosiatif kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan perum perumnas regional 1 Medan yang berjumlah 50 orang, dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah sampel jenuh, maka diperoleh 50 karyawan perum perumnas regional 1 Medan yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian lapangan dan data sekunder. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS 17.0 (statistic Product and Services Solution) for windows dan pengujian asumsi klasik. Variabel independen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reward dan punishment, sementara kinerja karyawan sebagai variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, variabel reward diperoleh nilai thitung> ttabel (9.662> 2,01174) dan nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari nilai probabilitas (0,006< 0,05), dengan demikian variabel reward berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, secara parsial variabel punishment diperoleh thitung> ttabel (2.602>2,01174) dan nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari nilai probabilitas (0,008<0,05), dengan demikian variabel punishment berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa variabel reward dan punishment berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan karena nilai F hitung > F tabel (47,126 > 3,20) dan nilai signifikan lebih kecil daripada taraf signifikan (0,000 < 0,05). Hasil koefisien determinasi antara variabel reward dan punishment terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 0,667 atau 66,7%, artinya sebesar 66,7% kinerja karyawan dipengaruhi oleh variabel reward dan punishment, sedangkan sisanya 33,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti penulis.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine whether the reward and punishment affect the performance of employees of employees of the Regional Housing Corporation 1 Medan. This type of research is causal associative. The population in this study were all employees of Perum Regional Regional 1 Medan, amounting to 50 people, by using a sampling technique is a saturated sample, then obtained 50 employees Perum Regional Regional 1 Medan who became the study sample. Data collection techniques in this study are field research methods and secondary data. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 17.0 software (Product and Service Solution statistics) for windows and testing classic assumptions. The independent variables used in this study are reward and punishment, while employee performance is the dependent variable.The results showed that partially, the reward variable was obtained tcount> ttable (9662> 2.01174) and the significance value was smaller than the probability value (0.006 <0.05), thus the reward variable had a significant effect on employee performance, partially the variable punishment is obtained tcount> t table (2.602> 2.01174) and the significance value is smaller than the probability value (0.008 <0.05), thus the punishment variable has a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously shows that the reward and punishment variables significantly influence employee performance because the calculated F value> F table (47.126> 3.20) and the significant value is smaller than the significant level (0.000 <0.05). The results of the coefficient of determination between reward and punishment variables on employee performance amounted to 0.667 or 66.7%, meaning that 66.7% of employee performance is influenced by the variable reward and punishment, while the remaining 33.3% is influenced by other variables not examined by the author.en_US
