Hubungan Antara Dkungan Sosial dengan Kesiapan Menghadapi Pensiun pada Karyawan PTPN III PKS Torgamba

Abstract

This study aims to look at the relationship between social support and readiness to face retirement at PTPN III Torgamba employees. Assuming more positive social support, the readiness to face retirement will be higher or conversely the more negative social support, the readiness to face retirement will be lower. This research was compiled based on the Likert scale method using social support scales arranged based on aspects namely: aspects of emotional support, aspects of appreciation support, aspects of informative support, aspects of instrumental support. And the scale of readiness to face retirement is arranged based on aspects namely: physical health aspects, mental health aspects, financial aspects, activity aspects, and planning aspects. Based on data analysis, it is obtained: 1) There is a positive relationship between social support and readiness to face retirement, where r x y = 0.338; p = 0.00 < 0.05. This means that the more positive the social support, the higher the readiness to face retirement and the more negative the social support, the lower the readiness to face retirement. 2) The determinant coefficient (r 2) of the relationship between the independent variable X and the dependent variable Y is R 2 = 0, 581. This shows that the readiness to face retirement is influenced by social support of 58.1%. This means that the proposed hypothesis that there is a positive relationship between social support and readiness to face retirement on PTPN III employees, is accepted
