Implementasi Program Kampung KB dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Hidup Masyarakat Desa Pondok Batu Kecamatan Bilah Hulu Kabupaten Labuhanbatu

Abstract

The Population and Family Planning Control Office of Labuhanbatu Regency is a Regional Devices Organization that handles population control and family planning matters. This study aims to find out how the implementation of the KB Village program in improving the quality of family life in the village of Pondok Batu. Research Methods are Qualitative Data Collection Techniques carried out at the study site. Direct interviews were conducted with the main informants, key informants and additional informants, namely the Head of the Population and Family Planning Control Office, the Head of the Family Planning Unit, the Head of Population Control, the Village Head of Pondok Batu, the KB Village Facilitator and the Planning Family Field Officer. From the results of the study, several findings were obtained, namely that not all cross-related sectors had a role in the development of KB villages. In addition, the frequency of family planning counseling needs to be improved and training for cadres is needed to improve their knowledge and skills. The obstacle in implementing the KB Village program is the need to improve synergy across related sectors in the development of KB Village
