Abstract: Basically, this study aims to determine the Differences in Entrepreneurial Intentions in terms of the Locus of control in Psychology Students, University of Medan Area. It is assumed there are differences in entrepreneurial intentions in terms of locus of control with the assumption that students who have internal locus of control have lower entrepreneurial intentions than students who have higher external locus of control. This research was arranged based on the Likert scale method using the scale of entrepreneurial intentions arranged from the Aspects of Entrepreneurial Intentions according to Ajzen (2002), among others: Attitude toward the behavior, Subjective norms, and Perceived behavior control. The Locus of Control scale is based on characteristics according to Crider (2003) Internal locus of control, and external locus of control. Based on data analysis, the following results are obtained: 1) There are differences in entrepreneurial intentions in terms of Internal-External Locus of Control. This result is known by looking at the value or coefficient of difference of t = 14.081 with p = 0.000, <0.010. Based on these results it means that the hypothesis put forward that says there is an intense difference in entrepreneurship in terms of Locus of Control, is declared acceptable. It is generally known that the subjects of this study have moderate entrepreneurial intentions, internal locus of control is low, external locus of control is very high with a hypothetical mean value of 80.00 and empirical mean intense entrepreneurship 88,640, empirical mean internal locus of control 71,600 and empirical mean locus of control of external control 106,080.
Skala Locus Of Control disusun berdasarkan karakteristik Menurut Crider (2003) Locus of control internal, dan Locus of control external.
