dc.descriptionPenelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan, yaitu : 1) Faktor pemberian kompos limbah kulit kakao (notasi K) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan, yakni : K0 = kontrol (tidak menggunakan kompos limbah kulit kakao); K1 = menggunakan kompos limbah kulit kakao dosis 5 ton/ha (0,5 kg/plot); K2 = menggunakan kompos limbah kulit kakao dosis 10 ton/ha (1 kg/plot); 2) Pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) kulit jengkol (notasi J) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan, yakni : J0 = kontrol (tidak menggunakan POC kulit jengkol); J1 = menggunakan POC kulit jengkol konsentrasi 0,6 % (6 ml/l); J2 = menggunakan POC kulit jengkol konsentrasi 1,2 % (12 ml/l); J3 = menggunakan POC kulit jengkol konsentrasi 1,8 % (18 ml/l). Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah buah per sampel, jumlah buah per plot, berat produksi per sampel dan berat produksi per plot. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, yakni : 1) Pemberian kompos limbah kulit kakao berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah buah per sampel, jumlah buah per plot, berat produksi per sampel dan berat produksi per plot. Dalam hal ini pemberian kompos limbah kulit kakao dengan dosis 1 kg/m2 menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan produksi yang terbaik buat tanaman terong Kecap; 2) Pemberian pupuk organik cair kulit jengkol berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi terong Kecap; dan 3) Kombinasi antara pemberian kompos limbah kulit kakao dan POC kulit jengkol berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi terong Kecap.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis research was conducted in the faculty of Experimental Garden near by Jl. Kolam no.1, Medan Estate, PercutSei Tuan, the height is 12 meters above sea level, that topography, type of soil is Alluvial and its PH is around 5-7. This research was conducted on August to October 2018. This study used a randomized block design which consist of two treatment factors : 1) The factor of providing cocoa skin waste compos consisting of 3 Levels of treatments, those are : K0 = control (did not use cocoa skin waste compost) ; K1 = using compost cocoa skin waste and dose was 5 tons/ hectare 10,5 kg/plot) ; K2 = using compost cocoa skin waste and dose was 10 tons/ hectare (1 kg/ plot) : 2) Giving jengkol liquid organic fertilizer which consists of 4 levels treatment, those are J0 = control did not use POC of jengkol skin ; J1 = used POC of jengkol skin 0,6 % (6ml/ 1) ; J2 = used POC of jengkol skin 1,2 (12 ml/ 1) ; J3 = used POC of jengkol skin 1,8% (18ml / 1). Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The parameters observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits per sample, number of fruits per plot, weight of production per sample and weight of production per plot. The result obtained from this study are : 1) Giving cocoa skin waste compost significantly affeeted plant height, number of leaves, number of fruits per sample, number of fruits per plot, production weight per sample and production weight per plot. In this case, the provision of cacao skin waste compost at a dose 1kg/ produced the best growth and production for say sauce eggplant plants ;2) Giving liquid organic Fertilizer from jengkol skin has no significant effect on growth and production of soy sauce eggplant plants ; 3) The combination of cocoa skin waste compost and POC of jengkol skin have no significant effect on the growth and production of soy sauce eggplant.en_US
