Hubungan Regulasi Emosi dengan Resiliensi pada Remaja di Panti Asuhan "Darul Aitam" Aceh Sepakat Medan

Abstract

This research aims to know the relationship between emotion of regulation with resilience on teenager in “Darul Aitam” Aceh Sepakat-Medan Orphanage. With there is a positive correlation between emotional regulation and resilience on teenager in orphanage as a hypothesis. This research is quantitative correlational research with involved subjects 44 teenagers in “Darul Aitam” Aceh Sepakat-Medan Orphanage and the sampling was done by Total Sampling technique. The method of collecting data in this research is scale method. The scale method used in this research were resilience scale and emotion of regulation scale. The data analyzing used in this research was Product Moment Correlation analyzing, with F = 1,528 and P Sig = 0,001, mean P value < 0,05 which is significant. Emotion of regulation contributed 15,6 % with r2 = 0,156. In general, teenager from “Darul Aitam” Aceh Sepakat-Medan orphanage’s emotion of regulations classified as high, with mean hipotetik (37,5) < mean empirik (48,95); also the resilience of teenager from “Darul Aitam” Aceh Sepakat-Medan orphanage is classified as high with mean hipotetik (100) < mean empirik (129,07).
