Analisa Kinerja Ruas Jalan Putri Hijau Kota Medan

Abstract

With the increasing number of vehicles in the city of Medan so that the movement of traffic is increasing in carrying out daily activities that cause high traffic flow and reduced capacity of the road sections and decreasing levels of service on the road sections which can then cause congestion on these roads. To determine the level of service for the road segment the method used is the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) for February 1997. By calculating the manual method, namely by calculating the amount of vehicle traffic on the road section over a period of time. The calculation result data obtained, the ability of the road section to accommodate is known that the degree of saturation (DS) on the Jalan Hijau Putri road in the direction of A is 0.50 with a speed of 26.7 km / h, while the degree of saturation (DS) on the Jalan Putri Hijau road A is 0.57 with a speed of 26.5 km / h, this shows that the performance of the Putri Hijau road in direction A and the performance of the Putri Hijau road in direction B are experiencing a decrease in performance due to traffic volume that is increasingly increasing every day
