Hubungan Konformitas Teman Sebaya dengan Perilaku Bullying pada Siswa Pelaku Bullying di SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of peer conformity with bullying behavior in bullying. The hypothesis proposed is a positive relationship between peer conformity with bullying behavior in bullying students, where the higher the bullying behavior in bullying students and vice versa, the lower the peer conformity relationship the more also low levels of bullying behavior in bullying students. The research sample was selected using the total sampling method, in which 60 student were know to have beeb bullying. Research data were collected using peer conformity scale and bullying behavior. Research data were tested using product moment correlation test. The results showed there was a significant relationship between peer conformity with bullying behavior in bullying students, ( rxy = 0,489 : p = 0,000 < 0,05 ). Then it is know that the contribution of conformity to bullying is 23,9 % ( r2 = 0,239) it is also know that the bullying behavior conformity is relatively high, ( mean empirical 60,48 > mean hypothetical = 55 ) and bullying behavior is high (mean empirical = 86,78 > mean hypothetical = 77,5 ).
