Hubungan antara Secure Attachment dengan Orangtua Terhadap Penyesuaian Diri pada Mahasiswa Perantau di STIS Ummul Ayman Meureudu

Abstract

The study aims to test empirically to know the connection of secure attachments with parents by self adjustment to the nomads students at STIS Ummul Ayman Meureudu. The methods used in this research are quantitative methods. The subject of this study was the overseas student at STIS Ummul Ayman Meureudu as much as 78 people. The scale used is a secure attachment scale with parents amounting to 36 item, and a self adjusting scale of 40 item. Reliability of the scale secure attachments with parents rtt = 0.872, and reliability of the scale self adjusting rtt = 0.896. The data analysis technique used in this study was the correlation of Product Moment technique used to analyse the relationship between one free variable with one bound variable. The results of the analysis are noted that there is a significant positive link between the parental secure attachment to the self adjusting of the nomads students, where rxy = 0.596; p = 0.00 < 0.05. Other results gained from this research have secure attachment of parents to the self adjusting of the nomads students by 35.5 %. In addition to other results obtained from the research of this secure attachment with the parent is relatively high with the average value of empirically acquired is 111.87 while the self adjustment is high also with the average value of the empirical obtained 117.18. From the results of this study, a proposed hypothesis was accepted.
