dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh job insecurity terhadap work engagement pada non – pegawai negeri sipil di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan 80 orang dengan status non – pegawai negeri sipil sebagai subjek penelitian. Work engagement adalah perasaan dan keadaan pikiran positif yang dikarakteristikkan dengan perilaku vigor, dedication, dan absorption. Job insecurity adalah penilaian pekerja terhadap suatu keadaan dimana mereka merasa terancam dan mereka merasa tidak berdaya mempertahankan kelanjutan pekerjaan tersebut. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi sederhana dengan menggunakan alat uji SPSS. Skala work engagement diukur dengan menggunakan skala yang dikembangkan berdasarkan UWES (Utrecht work engagement scale) Schaufeli & Bekker (2005), dan job insecurity diukur menggunakan skala yang dikembangkan Ashford, Lee & Bobko (1989). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa ada pengaruh negatif antara job insecurity dengan work engagement pada non – pegawai negeri sipil Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Utara (R = 0,715). Yang artinya adalah job insecurity memberikan pengaruh sebesar 71,5 % terhadap work engagement pada non – pegawai negeri sipil Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Utara.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of job insecurity on work engagement with non civil servants in the North Sumatra Provincial Education Office. This study used 80 people with the status of non – civil servants as subjects research. Work engagement is a feeling and a positive state of mind characterized by vigor, dedication and absorption. Job insecurity is appraisal of workers in a situation where they feel threatened and they are feel helpless to maintain the continuation of the work. This study was analyzed by using simple regression analysis techniques by using SPSS test equipment. The work engagement scale is measured using a scale developed based on UWES (Utrecht work engagement scale) Schaufeli & amp; Bekker (2005), and job insecurity measured using a scale developed by Ashford, Lee & amp; Bobko (1989). Results the research found that there is a negative influence between job insecurity and work engagement with non-civil servants at the North Sumatra Provincial Education Office (R = 0,715). Which means that job insecurity has given an effect of 71,5 % towards work engagement on non-civil servants of the North Sumatra Provincial Education Office.en_US
