dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Internet Gaming Disorder dengan Aggressive Driving pada remaja Medan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi remaja di SMA Panca Budi Medan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan korelasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument Internet Gaming Disorder yang dibuat oleh Young (2001) dalam Internet Addiction Test (IAT) dan angket Aggressive Driving dengan skala Likert. Unsur demografi seperti jenis kelamin dan usia, serta data tambahan mengenai genre game, platform, lokasi ditambahkan dalam penelitian ini untuk membuat penelitian ini menjadi lebih luas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 201 orang namun setelah dilakukan screening terhadap sampel, maka terdapat 196 orang yang dinyatakan sebagai sampel yang sesuai dengan penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini analisis yang digunakan adalah uji analisis korelasi bivariate Pearson dimana dengan r=0,179>0,140 dengan koefisien signifikansi p=0,012<0,050 membuktikan terdapat hubungan Internet Gaming Disorder dengan Aggressive Driving. Hasil lain yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Internet Gaming Disorder pada SMA Panca Budi Medan terindikasi ringan dengan nilai rata-rata empirik yang diperoleh yaitu 33,57 sedangkan Aggressive Driving dengan nilai emprik yang diperoleh 39,79. Sumbangan efektif internet gaming disorder terhadap aggressive driving adalah r2=0,032 yakni sebesar 3,2% dan selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti, Immobility, Restrictions, Regulation, Being put in danger, Territorially, Diversity, Multi-Tasking, Denial, Negativity, Selfserving bias, Venting, Unpredictability, Isolation, dan Emotional challenges.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to find the correlation between Internet Gamin Disorder and Aggressive Driving within adolescent in Medan. The subject of this research was students in SMA Panca Budi Medan. The research was a correlational study. This research used an instrument of Internet Gaming Disorder that have been created by Young (2001) in Internet Addiction Test (IAT) and Aggressive Driving using Likert’s scale. The demographic such as gender and age, also additional data for genre game, platform, and location was added to make this study comprehensive. Total Sample for this research was 201 students but after do the screening to samples, then there were 196 students that fulfill the criterias of the research. The analyze that used in this research was correlational bivariate Pearson with r=0,179>0,140 also the coefficient of significance is p:0,012<0,050 prove the correlation between Internet Gaming Disorder and Aggressive Driving. The result shown that there is a positive correlation between the Internet Gaming Disorder and Aggressive Driving in SMA Panca Budi Medan indicates as mild category with mean empirical is 33,57 meanwhile Aggressive Driving have mean empirical 39,79. The contribution of Internet Gaming Disorder within Aggressive Driving is r2=0,032 with 3,2% and the rest of it is influenced by other factors like, Immobility, Restrictions, Regulation, Being put in danger, Territorially, Diversity, Multi-Tasking, Denial, Negativity, Self-serving bias, Venting, Unpredictability, Isolation, dan Emotional challenges.en_US
