Abstract: This study aims to determine and prove the difference in commitment between permanent employees and outsourced employees in PT. Telkom Regional 1, Sumatera Utara. Commitment is attitude of an employee who is willing to involve himself in every activity of the organization and show loyalty to the company in order to achive company goals. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a difference between the commitment of permanent employees and outsourcing employees, assuming the commitment of permanent employees is higher than outsourcing employees. The subjects of this study were permanent employees and outsourced employees in PT. Telkom Regional 1, Sumatera Utara, with 63 people, 32 permanent employees and 31 outsourcing employees. This research is a quantitative research. The sampling technique uses presentation techniques. The data collection method uses a Likert scale. Based on the results of t-test data analysis shows there are differences in commitment between permanent employees and outsourcing employees, where t 7,273 and sig. which is 0,000<0.05. Another result obtained from this study is the commitment of permanent employees is relatively high with an empirical mean of 106.9. While outsourcing employee commitment is classified as moderate with an empirical mean of 87.94. From the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis was accepted.
Description: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan perbedaan komitmen antara karyawan tetap dan karyawan outsourcing di PT. Telkom Regional 1, Sumatera Utara. Komitmen adalah sikap seseorang karyawan yang bersedia dalam melibatkan dirinya disetiap kegiatan organisasi serta menunjukkan loyalitas terhadap perusahaan demi mencapai tujuan perusahaan. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah ada perbedaan antara komitmen karyawan tetap dengan karyawan outsourcing, dengan asumsi komitmen karyawan tetap lebih tinggi dibandingkan karyawan outsourcing. Subjek penelitian ini adalah karyawan tetap dan outsourcing di PT. Telkom Regional 1, Sumatera Utara, dengan jumlah 63 orang yaitu 32 karyawan tetap dan 31 karyawan outsourcing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik persentasi Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert. Berdasarkan hasil analisis t-test data menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan komitmen antara karyawan tetap dengan karyawan outsourcing, dimana t 7,273 dan sig. yakni 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil lain yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah komitmen karyawan tetap tergolong tinggi dengan mean empirik 106,9. Sedangkan komitmen karyawan outsourcing tergolong sedang dengan mean empirik 87,94. Dari hasil penelitian ini, maka hipotesis yang diajukan diterima.
