Hubungan Stress Ibu Dengan Perilaku Kekerasan Terhadap Anak Di Kecamatan Lembah Sabil Kabupaten Aceh Barat Daya

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal stress and violent behavior towards children in Lembah Sabil sub-district, Aceh Barat Daya District.his study aims to determine the relationship between maternal stress and violent behavior towards children in Lembah Sabil sub-district, Aceh Barat Daya District. The subjects used were mothers who were experiencing stress in Lembah Sabil District, Southwest Aceh District. The population in the study was 130 mothers and the sample was 85 mothers, the method used was quantitative methods. The hypothesis proposed is "there is a relationship between maternal stress and violent behavior towards children" assuming that the higher the stress of the mother, the higher the behavior of violence against children, and vice versa, the lower the stress of the mother, the lower the behavior of violence towards children. This study uses a maternal stress scale and a scale of violent behavior towards children. Data collection is done using a Likert scale, and using Product Moment correlation analysis techniques. The results of the analysis note that there is a significant positive relationship between maternal stress and violent behavior towards children in Lembah Sabil District, Southwest Aceh District, which can be seen from the linearity coefficient R_xy = 0.707 with p = 0.000 <0.010. The value of the determinant coefficient (r ^ 2) 0.500 or equal to 50.0% This means that maternal stress contributes 50.0% to Violence Behavior Against Children in Lembah Sabil District, Southwest Aceh District, while 50% is caused by other factors such as economic factors , Age at marriage, and condition of the child. From the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis is stated accepted.
