Abstract: This study aims to determine the relationship of job satisfaction with commitment organization in outsourcing employee of PT Telkom Regional 1 Sumatera. The population of this study is outsourcing employee in PT Telkom Regional 1 Sumatera as many as 76 people. The sample was 76 people, the sample was taken by using total sampling technique. The data were collected using two psychological scale is Job Satisfaction Scale (52 valid aitems, a = 0,951) and Commitment Organization Scale (38 valid aitems, a = 0,898). The results of this study show the correlation coefficient of rxy 0,759 with p = 0,000 < 0,05. The results show that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher that there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction with commitment organization is acceptable. Positive correlation coefficient value indicates that the direction of relationship between the two variables is positive, meaning the highest job satisfaction the highest commitment organization. Job satisfaction gives effective contribution of 54,6% at commitment organization and equal to 45,4% influenced by other factor that not examined in this research.
Description: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan outsourcing di PT Telkom Regional 1 Sumatera. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 76 orang yang berada di PT Telkom Regional 1 Sumatera. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Kepuasan kerja karyawan outsourcing menggunakan Skala Kepuasan Kerja yang diukur dari 52 item yang valid (a = 0,951), sedangkan komitmen organisasi di ukur dengan menggunakan skala komitmen organisasi yang di ukur dari 38 item yang valid (a = 0,898). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan koefisien korelasi rxy 0,759 dengan p = 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan peneliti yaitu terdapat hubungan positif antara kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen organisasi dapat diterima. Nilai koefisien korelasi positif menunjukkan bahwa arah hubungan kedua variabel adalah positif, artinya semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja maka semakin tinggi komitmen organisasi. Kepuasan kerja memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 54,6% pada komitmen organisasi dan sebesar 45,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
