Hubungan antara Harga Diri dengan Pengungkapan Diri pada Tuna Daksa di Jalan SM Raja

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and selfdisclosure in disabled people on the street SM Raja Medan. The hypothesis in this study is the higher self-esteem, the higher self-disclosure to individuals. The research was carried out onthe street of SM Raja Medan. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling with 32 subjects who were physically disabled. The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of self-disclosure and selfesteem scale. Aspects used in the scale of self-disclosure, namely, attitudes and opinions, tastes and interests, work, money, personality, body, while the aspects of the scale of self-esteem used are feelings of worth, feelings of ability, feelings of acceptance. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship betseen self-esteem and self-disclosure diri rxy = 0,899 with p = 0,000 < 0,050. The effective contribution of self with self disclosure is 80,9%.
