Abstract: This study aims to see the relationship of Work Environment with Job Stress at BRI Bank Employees Kanca Iskandar Muda. The research uses quantitative research methods. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a negative relationship between Work Environment and Job Stress at BRI Bank Employees Kanca Iskandar Muda. The population in this study amounted to 680 people and the study sample were 40 people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The method of data collection is the scale of Work Environment and Job Stress. Data analysis using Product Moment analysis. Research results is a significant relationship between Work Environment and Job Stress. This is indicated by the coefficient rxy = -0.755; p = 0,000 means p = <0.01, which means that the worse the Work Environment is the higher the Job Stress. Based on the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis was declared accepted. Contribution of the Work Environment to Work Stress was 57.1%. From these results it is known that there are still 42.9% contributions from other factors on Job Stress that were not examined in this study. It is known that the subject of this research is the employees of Bank BRI Kanca Iskandar Muda have Work Stress which is classified as moderate and has a working environment that is classified as moderate.
Description: Penelitian ini bertujuan ingin melihat hubungan Lingkungan Kerja dengan Stres Kerja Pada Karyawan Bank BRI Kanca Iskandar Muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Hipotesis yang diajukan ada hubungan negatif antara Lingkungan Kerja dengan Stres Kerja Pada Karyawan Bank BRI Kanca Iskandar Muda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 680 orang dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Purposive Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data adalah skala Lingkungan Kerja dan Stres Kerja. Analisa data menggunakan analisis Product Moment. Hasil penelitian yaitu ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara Lingkungan Kerja dan Stres Kerja. Hal ini ditunjukan dari koefisien rxy = -0,755 ; p = 0,000 berarti p = <0,01 yang berarti bahwa semakin buruk Lingkungan Kerja maka semakin tinggi Stres Kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dinyatakan diterima. Sumbangsi Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Stres Kerja sebesar 57,1%. Dari hasil ini diketahui bahwa masih terdapat 42,9% kontribusi dari faktor lain terhadap Stres Kerja yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Diketahui bahwa subjek penelitian ini para Karyawan Bank BRI Kanca Iskandar Muda memiliki Stres Kerja yang tergolong sedang dan memiliki Lingkungan Kerja yang tergolong sedang.
