| Abstract: | Diabetes Mellitus ( DM ) is a metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia that occurs due to abnormal insulin secretion and insulin action. DM disease is a chronic disease with manay complications one of which is in the kidney in the form of diabetic nephropathy. A simple and quite effective test to determine kidney function is a urine protein test.This study aims to determine the correlation of urine protein images and samples taken purposively. The results of research on 30 urine sample of patiens with type II DM from the patients examined was a significant correlation between blood sugar levels with proteinuria with a coefficient of determination r = 0,93. |
| Description: | Diabetes Mellitus ( DM ) adalah penyakit metabolikyang terdiri atas tipe I dan II dengan karakteristik hiperglikemia yang terjadi karena kelainan sekresi insulin dan kerja insulin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar gula darah dengan proteinuria pada pasien diabetes mellitus. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan menganalisa hasil pemeriksaan kadar gula darah dan kadar protein urin penderita DM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat antara kadar gula darah dengan proteinuria pasien DM (r = 0,93), dengan nilai R2 = 0.87 maka kontribusi kadar gula terhadap terjadinya proteinuria adalah 87%. |
