Title: Pengaruh Pemberian Jenis Pupuk Kandang dan Pupuk Organik Cair Limbah Kulit Jengkol Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Kacang Tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.)

Abstract: The study was conducted in the Experimental Garden of the Agriculture Faculty, University of Medan Area, located on PBSI road number 1 Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan District, with a height 12 meters above sea level (asl) flat topography and alluvial soil types, from August to November 2018. The design used was Randomized Block Design (RBD) Factorial, with two factors, namely : 1) Factors of various concentrations of liquid organic fertilizer of jengkol skin with notation (J) consists of 4 levels, namely : J0 = without POC jengkol skin (NPK 16:16:16); J1 = POC jengkol skin (20 ml POC/l water); J3 = POC jengkol skin (60 ml POC/l water), and 2) Factors giving of manure type with notation (P) consists of 3 levels, namely: P1 = Goat manure 10 tons/Ha (1,08 kg/plot); P2 = Cow manure 10 tons/Ha (1,08 kg/plot); P3 = Chicken manure 10 tons/Ha (1,08 kg/plot). Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The parameters observed were plant height, number of branches, weight of pods per sample plant, pod weight per plot, weight of seeds per sample plant and weight of seeds per plot. The results obtained were: 1) giving various types of manure had significant effect on plant height, pod weight per sample plant, pod weight per plot, seed weight per sample plant, and seed weight per plot, but had not significant effect on the number of branches of the peanut plants; 2) giving POC jengkol skin waste had not significant effect on the growth and production of peanut plants; and 3) the combination of various types of manure and POC jengkol skin waste had not significant effect on the growth and production peanut plants.
Description: Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area yang berlokasi di Jalan PBSI No 1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, dengan ketingian 12 meter dari permukaan laut (dpl) topografi datar dan jenis tanah alluvial, mulai bulan Agustus sampai November 2018. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial, dengan 2 faktor, yaitu : 1) Faktor berbagai konsentrasi pupuk organik cair kulit jengkol dengan notasi (J) yang terdiri dari empat taraf, yakni : J0 = tanpa POC kulit jengkol (NPK 16:16:16); J1 = POC kulit jengkol (20 ml POC/liter air); J2 = POC kulit jengkol (40 ml POC/liter air); J3 = POC kulit jengkol (60 ml POC/liter air), dan 2) Faktor pemberian jenis pupuk kandang dengan notasi (P) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf, yakni : P1 = Pupuk kandang kambing 10 ton/Ha (1,08 kg/ plot); P2 = Pupuk kandang sapi 10 ton/Ha (1,08 kg/ plot); P3 = Pupuk kandang ayam 10 ton/Ha (1,08 kg/ plot). Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, berat polong per tanaman sampel, berat polong per plot, berat biji per tanaman sampel dan berat biji per plot. Hasil yang diperoleh, yaitu : 1) Pemberian berbagai jenis pupuk kandang berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, berat polong per tanaman sampel, berat polong per plot, berat biji per tanaman sampel dan berat biji per plot, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah cabang tanaman kacang tanah; 2) Pemberian POC limbah kulit jengkol tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kacang tanah; dan 3) Kombinasi antara pemberian berbagai jenis pupuk kandang dan POC limbah kulit jengkol tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kacang tanah.
