Perbedaan Perilaku Keselamatan Kerja Karyawan Pabrik Adolina PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Ditinjau dari Tipe Kepribadian Introvert dan Ekstrovert

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in work safety behavior in terms of introverted and extroverted personality types. The subjects of this study were employees of the Adolina Kebon factory PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV. The scale used is the introvert and extrovert personality type scale consisting of 64 items and the scale of work safety behavior consisting of 24 items. Data analysis using T-test technique. Based on data analysis, it was found that the hypothesis proposed in this study was accepted, namely the existence of differences in work safety behavior in terms of introvert and extrovert personality types. This is evidenced by the value or coefficient of difference F = 2,572 with p = 0.020 <0.050. Occupational safety behavior has differences in terms of personality types in introverts of 16 people and 46 people tend to be extroverted personality types of 70 people, while the remaining 8 people have a balanced attitude of introverted and extroverted personalities. This proves that extroverts are more oriented to the application of work safety behavior which tends to be higher compared to introverts.
