Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi Petani Jambu Air Madu "Deli Hijau" (Studi Kasus: Desa Teluk, Kecamatan Secanggang, Kabupaten Langkat Sumatera Utara)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the social economy conditions off green deli hijau guava farmers in Teluk Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency. The location of the study was in the village of the Gulf which was chosen purposively. The Population in this study were all deli hijau guava farmers in Teluk Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency, totaling 20 farmers. Data obtained based on census data with consideration of the minimum population needed so that it is taken entirely. Data analysis based on the interactive method of Miles and Huberman, there are three data analysis methods, namely data condensation, data presentation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of green deli honey guava farmers based on education are generally high school education, the average number of family dependents is 3 to 4 people, the residence of green deli madu guava farmers is generally their own home, with an average home area 68 - 75 m2, and the average farmer’s house is made of concrete, green deli madu guava farmers have an area of land less than 0.12 ha.
