Hubungan Antara Teman Sebaya dengan Kemandirian Belajar pada Siswa Kelas XI Man 2 Model Medan

Abstract

This study aims to look at the relationship between peers with learning independence in class XI MAN 2 Medan Model. The subjects in this study were 89th grade XI students. The sampling technique uses cluster sampling technique. Data collection is done by using two scales, namely peer scale and learning independence scale. Test data analysis using correlation techniques (rxy) obtained results of 0.405 with p = 0.000 <0.050. This means that the hypothesis is accepted that there is a positive and significant relationship between peers with learning independence in students. Peers in the MAN 2 Medan Model are classified as high, indicating an empirical mean = 79.96> hypothetical mean = 67.5 where the difference exceeds the SD number = 8.916. Learning independence is also classified as high, indicated empirical mean = 100.80> hypothetical mean 82.5 where the difference exceeds SD = 9,671. The coefficient of determination of the correlation of r2 = 0.164 means that peers make effective contributions to learning independence by 16.4%.
