dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepercayaan diri dan komunikasi interpersonal dengan interaksi sosial siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 04 Medan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi sebanyak 129 siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 04 Medan. Dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling diperoleh sampel sebesar 45 orang. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan Analisis Regresi Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada hipotesis pertama ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dengan interaksi sosial siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 04 Medan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,331 dan p < 0,000, dan R2 = 0,109 dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 10,9%, kemudian hipotesis kedua menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan interaksi sosial siswa, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,524 dan p < 0.000, R2 = 0,274 dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 27,4% dan pada hipotesis ketiga menunjukkan bahwa Ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dan komunikasi interpersonal dengan interaksi sosial koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,605 dan p < 0,000, dan R2 = 0,366. Total sumbangan efektif antara kepercayaan diri dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap interaksi sosial siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 04 Medan adalah sebesar 36,6%.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe students aims to find out the relationship between self-confidence and interpersonal communication towards social interaction among students of Muhammadiyah 04 Junior High School, Medan. as the quantitative research, the total population of the study reaches up to 129 students. Then, by employing Random Sampling technique, about 45 respondents are selected as the sample. Also, the Multiple Regression Analysis was applied to fulfil the data analyzing technique for research. The result reveals that hypothesis one is accepted with the coefficient correlation as much as 0.331; p < 0.000; R2 = 0.109 and the contribution as much as 10.9%. thus, it indicates that there are a positive relationship and significance between self-confidence and social interaction. Similarly, the hypothesis two also accepted with the coefficient correlation as much as 0.524; p < 0.000; R2 = 0.274 and the contribution as much as 27.4%. then again, the hypothesis three mentions that there are a positive relationship and significance between self-confidence and interpersonal communication towards social interaction. Also, hypothesis three is accepted with the coefficient correlation as much as 0.605; p < 0.000 and R2 = 0.366. The total contribution between self-confidence and interpersonal communication towards social interaction among students of Muhammadiyah 04 Junior High School, Medan is 36.6%.en_US
