Abstract

Garbage is a crucial problem faced by several cities in Indonesia including Medan City. These problems are more concentrated in waste operational techniques. Mayor of Medan Drs. HT Dzulmi Eldin S, MSi took a policy in waste management in Medan City, which delegate some of its authority to sub-district in the implementation of government affairs in the field of waste management through Rule Number 6 of 2018 About the Implementation of Abundance division Mayor's Authority To Camat In Implementation Of Government Affairs In The Field Waste Management. One of the sub-districts targeted by this policy is the Medan Perjuangan sub-district. With the delegation done, then from now on the problem of waste management that has been handled by the Office of Sanitation and Gardening of Medan City is now the duty and responsibility of the sub-district and all its staffs. This study aims to find out the Implementation of Mayor of Medan Regulation No. 6 of 2018 on the Implementation of the Abundance of the Mayor's Authority to the Head of District in the Implementation of Government Affairs in the Field of Waste Management in Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan. Samples taken by purposive sample counted 43 people. Data analysis was done by quantitative descriptive with frequency table analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Implementation of Regulation of Mayor of Medan Regulation Number 6 Year 2018 About Implementation of Division of Proportionality of Mayor to Sub-District In Implementation of Government Affairs in the Field of Waste Management seen from the aspect of communication, sources, disposition or tendency of executor and bureaucracy structure of the results have been running well or effectively.
