Perbedaan Kepercayaan Diri di Tinjau dari Remaja yang Tinggal, dan tidak Tinggal Bersama Orang Tua di SMK TI Dharma Bakti Medan

Abstract

Hakim (2002) explains that self-confidence is a person's belief in all aspects of life he has and that belief makes him feel capable of achieving various goals in his life. This study aims to see a difference of confidence in terms of adolescents who live and do not live with parents. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a difference of confidence in the review of adolescents who live and do not live with parents. This research was conducted at SMK TI Dharma Bakti Medan with sample number 78 people. The method used in this research is quantitative method with sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. This research uses one scale that is scale of confidence. Data analysis was done by using 1 lane variance analysis technique. The results of hypothetical mean calculations, empirical mean, and standard deviation are known that adolescent self-confidence who live with parents is in high category, with a mean score of 80 hypothetical and an empirical mean score of 111.80, and the standard deviation of 6,556. Whereas confidence of adolescents who do not live with parents in the low category with a mean score of hypothetical 80 and the empirical mean 88.25, and standard deviation of 9,691. The results showed that there are differences in selfconfidence in the teenagers who live and do not live with parents in SMK TI Dharma Bakti Medan by looking at the value or coefficient of difference Anava where, F = 307.982 with p = 0.000, < 0.05.
