Analisis Studi Kelayakan Bisnis Pemanfaatan Limbah Agribisnis (Sekam Padi dan Tongkol Jagung) Menjadi Energi Alternatif di Kecamatan Tanah Jawa Kabupaten Simalungun

Abstract

Arief Muhazir Insandi, did the research titled "Analysis of the Business Potential of Utilization of Agribusiness Waste (Rice Husk and Corn Cob) into Alternative Energy in Tanah Jawa Simalungun. The research conducted for 6 (six) months, started in July 2016 until December 2016. The populations of this study were the rice mill and corn mill entrepreneurs spread in Kecamatan Tanah Jawa, Simalungun District. The sampling method used was Full Sampling, that is the process of sampling done on purpose because of the small number of population so the entire of the population was sampled. The sample from rice mill were 2 mills, meanwhile the sample from corn mill were 4 mills. The methods of data analysis used were income analysis, financial feasibility analysis, and sensitivity analysis. The research result: Charcoal Briquette of Processing Capacity of 105.000 kg / month is assumed to generate the Cash Inflow of Rp. 6.300.000.000 and the Cash Outflow of Rp. 3.393.881.040 in the first year, in the second year the Cash Inflow of Rp. 6.300.000.000 and the Cash Outflow of Rp.3.341.225.000, in the third year Cash Inflow of Rp. 6.300.000.000 and the Cash Outflow of Rp. 3.282.513.430, in the fourth year Cash Inflow of Rp.6.300.000.000 the Cash Outflow of Rp. 3.217.050.000, and in the fifth year the Cash Inflow of Rp. 6.300.000.000 and the Cash Outflow of Rp.3.144.058.000. The result showed that in the charcoal briquette business from the side of PP, NVP and RR values, the charcoal briquette industry in research area were feasible and profitable to be developed.
