Evaluasi Kinerja Sekretariat Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Timur Tahun 2017 Studi pada Bagian Administrasi Pembangunan

Abstract

In this study the author will evaluate the performance of the East Aceh Regency Secretariat in 2017, especially in the Development Administration Section. From the results of the initial information, the authors found that there were public complaints about the performance of the Secretariat, such as civil servants, working optimally because they found that there were civil servants in working hours sitting in coffee shops near the office or outside the office. However, this is due to the distance between the domicile of the employee and the office, so that he only had breakfast after arriving at the office. Based on the background of the problem, the formulation of the problem in this research is how the performance of the Aceh District Government Regional Secretariat in the Development Administration Section and what obstacles are faced. While the objectives to be achieved in this study are to evaluate the performance of the Regional Secretariat of the East Aceh District Government and analyze the obstacles faced. In this study the authors used a qualitative descriptive research method. The results of the research obtained from the interview concluded that individual abilities and motivation were good while the organizational environment in the Regional Secretariat of the East Aceh District Government was still not good. Obstacles faced include employees having difficulty adapting, large workloads and the distance of employees' domicile away from the office. Some things suggested by the author are making training for employees, giving leave, rewards and providing mess facilities.
