Abstract

Various public policies always keep abreast of the demands of society and the environment. The tendency of late application of renewable technology aspects and the system tools that follow will result in sub-optimal services and the accumulation of impeded public interest queues. The application of archival information systems in administrative services at the General Bureau of North Sumatra Regional Secretariat is an act of public decision making so that the quality of service is hampered. can run in accordance with the interests of users both Regional Leaders and parties outside the organization that really expects servants who are fast, simple, easy and can always follow the development of modernization. The application of this system includes the Input Aspect in the form of providing computer equipment, officers and the procedures that regulate it. In the case of the process of implementing this system is always carried out with direction, monitoring and evaluation so that the system runs directed. The resulting output in the form of outgoing letters with barcodes and computerized data and incoming mail data and letter positioning accurately and quickly can be detected. The perceived benefits of implementing this system include ease of service, fast, responsive, accountable data search and use of space that is not too broad in storing data.
