dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemahaman petani tentang Indikasi Geografis, penerapan pola budidaya dan pascapanen kopi arabika, karakteristik komoditas mutu kopi arabika, dan karakteristik faktor alamterhadap perencanaan penerapan Indikasi Geografis Kopi Arabika Karo. Metodepenelitianinimenggunakanpendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey.Sampel ditentukan berdasarkan kelompok tani di 5 kecamatan, sebanyak 2 orang dari setiap kelompok, sebanyak 72 orang. Pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Data dianalisisdenganmenggunakanregresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, Karaktersitik faktor alam berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perencanaan penerapan IG kopi arabika Kabupaten Karo. Pemahaman IG, pola budidaya dan pasca panen, dan karaktersitik komoditasberpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap perencanaan penerapan IG kopi arabika Kabupaten Karo. Secara simultan variabel pemahaman IG, pola budidaya dan pasca panen, karakteristik komoditas, dan karaktersitik faktor alam berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perencanaan penerapan IG kopi arabika Kabupaten Karo. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,472 berarti bahwa pengaruh dari variabel pemahaman IG, pola budidaya dan pasca panen, karakteristik komoditas, dan karaktersitik faktor alam terhadap perencanaan penerapan IG kopi arabika Kabupaten Karo adalah sebesar 47,2%.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aims of study to analyze the influence of farmers' understanding of Geographical Indications, the application of Arabica coffee cultivation and post harvest patterns, the characteristics of Arabica coffee quality commodities, and the characteristics of natural factors on the planning of the Geographical Indication of Karo Arabica Coffee. This research using a quantitative approach with survey method. The sample was determined based on farmer groups in 5 districts, as many as 2 people from each group, as many as 72 people. The data collection through questionnaires. Data were analyzed with multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially, the characteristics of natural factors had a significant effect on the planning of the application of Arabica coffee GIs. The understanding of GIs, cultivation and post-harvest patterns, and commodity characteristics had no significant effect on the planning of the application of Arabica coffee GIs. Simultaneously the GIs understanding variables, cultivation and post-harvest patterns, commodity characteristics, and characteristics of natural factors significantly influence the planning of the application of Arabica coffee Gis of Karo Regency. The coefficient of determination of 0.472 indicates that the influence of the GIs understanding variables, cultivation and post-harvest patterns, commodity characteristics, and natural factor characteristics on the planning of the application of Arabica coffee GI Karo Regency is 47.2%.en_US
